Liliana Guerreiro was born in 1975, Viana do Castelo, the heart of Minho (north of Portugal), land of traditions and festivals, strong women, with stunning costumes and the “chest” exhibiting the family gold. Growing up with this "genetic" heritage and these traditions, undoing her mother’s gold bead necklaces to see how they were made, and re-threading the beads, playing with the grandmothers and aunts jewels, trying them repeatedly knowing their names, all this influenced the way forward for Liliana.
In 1999 completed a degree in Art/Jewellery at ESAD Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Matosinhos (1995 | 1999).
Her specialized training began in EPOA Escola Profissional de Ofícios Artísticos in Vila Nova de Cerveira (1990 | 1993), School of Decorative Arts - Ricardo Espírito Santo Foundation in Lisbon (1993 | 1994) and Centro de Joalharia do Porto (1998).
